Trump's Family Member Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete has considerable online following
Kai Trump will have numerous well-known cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates several courses worldwide and regularly matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and relax," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's quite busy."
As an amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
However she can get advice from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.
"He is the greatest golfer globally," Kai stated.
"And he's a more impressive person. He told me to play, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically reaching youth audiences.
Kai has a massive following and just introduced her own fashion and living company.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
