Barcelona to Host First Match at Upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday
The club confirmed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit the Bilbao team in domestic competition 30 months since relocating so building work could begin.

Not all seats will be available though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside based on approved permits. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said completed upgrades featured a new players’ tunnel and new dressing rooms.
Preparatory Events
Barça organized a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side in December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
